In Game Reward

Reward based system when the game is being played:
  1. Each unit will be able to gain rank as it kills enemies and survives.
  2. This will be shown as a rank beside its name on the battlefield.
  3. The rank will work as a multiplier to the units stats.
  4. Rank is reset at the beginning of each match.


Out-of-Game Currency

Currency for purchasing boosters and accessories that can be earned through gameplay or bought in the store:
  1. Credit

Game Cinema

  • Tutorial

    • Should feature real gameplay
    • Suggest possible strategies but remain fairly vague
  • Introduction scene

    • A general introductory scene
    • An introductory scene for each faction

Game Modes

  • Conquest

    • This mode should be available for single-player or group play.
  • Objective

    • This mode should be available for single-player or group play.
  • Storyline

    • This mode should be available for single-player.
    • Storyline should differ for each faction based on perspectives and histories.

Weather

  • Weather affects should encompass enough of the world to impact all players
  • Impact of weather should be affected by player preparedness
  • Negative impacts from a large storm would have a negative effect on the morale of the forces affected

Factions

  • Run competitions between members of different factions
  • The main screen should show the faction that is currently ahead
  • Competitions should be for a limited time, even playing ground, and have some new content
  • Awards to the winners should be new content that is about to be available in the store as well as xp and/or credits
  • We will need more than two factions
  • Each faction should have a player chat area
  • Once enough players have joined, players should be able to pay money to switch factions (broaden gaming experiences)
  • Faction storyboards should be available that portray each faction from their own perspectives (propaganda)

Temporary Bonuses

  • Morale Spike
    • Units become enraged at the betrayal of an ally and get attack bonus for limited amount of time after suffering a loss
  • Special Ore
    • Resource points will occasionally produce a very limited amount of a special ore that will allow a limited number of unites to receive an ammo or armor bonus for a limited amount of time.
      • Ex: only 500 rounds of ammo
      • Ex: only enough armor plating for 2 units.  Once those units are damaged or killed the armor is gone.
  • Electronic Warfare
    • Disabling all or a portion of an opponents' map effectively blinding them to the area for a short amount of time.
    • Scrambling system causing signals to get crossed; effectively chaos and likely a morale drop.
