We understand the long-term benefits, but we're trying to identify the biggest challenges before we begin. For those who have gone through an ERP implementation, what were the most difficult parts of the project? Was it data migration, user training, defining workflows, or something else? Looking back, what would you have done differently? I'd really appreciate hearing about real-world experiences before we start planning.

For us, user adoption was harder than the technical work. People were comfortable with the old process, so training and communication became the biggest priority.

I would recommend spending more time documenting your business processes before development begins. We changed requirements several times, which delayed the project.
